About the Position

This position is responsible for being a creative mixologist as well as serving food in the Café. Maintaining Cafe cleanliness and to provide the highest level of customer service and hospitality. This position will oversee the production of quality products and services while maintaining profitability and overall success of the Café. 

Responsibilities

Greet customers and attend to members in the Cafe
Create and serve food and beverage items
Promote daily specials and encourage upgrades to each order
Operate cash register, process payments through cash or credit card handling and/or member account charges
Café opening and/or closing duties, as required 

Track, verify and reconcile use of inventory 
Maintain a clean, safe work environment according to State and Local food safety standards
Understand and anticipate the needs of our members and guests; be attentive, listen carefully and follow through; provide exceptional customer service
Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate
Active participation in events, programs, meetings and training
Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response
Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings

 

Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years of Customer Service experience (food service industry experience preferred)
Food Safety Certified
Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities
Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player
Self-motivated, takes initiative, anticipate the needs of others and willing to acquire new skills
Well organized and detail oriented
Detail-orientation and high cleanliness standards

Hours: Will vary, must be able to work holidays and weekends

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Extreme environmental conditions do not exist.
