GENERAL SUMMARY

This position is responsible for checking in members and guests upon their arrival to the Club and creating a positive first impression.  Associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service, creating an environment of hospitality and luxury, and consistently demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

Customer Service

Greet members and guests upon arrival to the Club
Check members in by entering their member number into CM+
Provide information to members regarding the club, and be able to provide alternative parking recommendations should the garage be full
Deliver exceptional service experience to members, guests, and Associates with a goal of retaining guests for repeat business

 

Garage Booth Oversight

Issue slips to customers to put in their windshields for display
Keep count of the number of available spots in the parking garage for members
Complete walks of the garage to issue parking violations tickets, and send information to Operations Manager
Answer and transfer phone calls

 

Cleanliness

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Garage Booth. Keep parking slips well stocked at all times, and dispose of trash at the completion of shift.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Garage.  Ensure floor, emergency exits are clean, debris free.
Close the garage gates and shut down the booth at the completion of shifts in the evening.

 

Communication and Relationships

Communicate timely and follow up, as appropriate
Active participation in required events, required programs, required meetings and required trainings
Communication parking violations or parking accidents to Operations Manager in a timely manner

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Flexibility in work schedule, as job may require day and evening shifts, weekends  and holidays

 

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Policies and Regulations — Knowledge of company polices.
Written Comprehension and Expression — Ability to read, understand and communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.      
Oral Comprehension and Expression —Ability to understand and communicate so others can understand ideas and information.
Computer – Ability to utilize spa software program and email communication software, such as Microsoft Outlook.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

At least one year experience in the hospitality industry or related service position preferred.

It is sometimes necessary to deal with unpleasant or angry people with the need to problem solve difficult situations.
